FHKI Group 32 (Hong Kong Automation Technology Council) and The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers: Visit to Chow Tai Fook & Xiaopeng
FHKI Group 32 (Hong Kong Automation Technology Council) and The Manufacturing, Industrial & Systems (MIS) Division of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) will jointly organise a visit to Chow Tai Fook and Xiaopeng on 12 May 2026.
Members will have the opportunity to visit the CHOW TAI FOOK's Artisanal Innovation Centre, where they will learn how Chow Tai Fook's automated logistics system swiftly delivers crafted products to various retail outlets. Additionally, they will witness the integration of filigree craftsmanship with modern technology and traditional techniques.
On the same day, members will also tour XPeng's new Smart EV Manufacturing Base and Tech Park. They can deeply experience the awe-inspiring charm of cutting-edge smart manufacturing technologies, such as AI visual quality inspection, intelligent logistics, and integrated mega-casting. This visit will kick off a technological exploration journey spanning AI-driven automobiles, smart robots, and flying cars.
