FHKI Group 14 (Hong Kong Mould and Die Council) ("HKMDC") is delighted to announce the successful conclusion of the Hong Kong Pavilion at CHINAPLAS 2026, held from 21-24 April 2026 in Shanghai.
This year marked HKMDC’s 12th consecutive year organising the "Hong Kong Pavilion" at CHINAPLAS, a testament to the enduring excellence of Hong Kong's mould and die industry. Located in Hall 5.2, the Pavilion was themed "Smart Moulding, Shaping the Future," highlighting the vital role of moulds as the "Mother of Industries". Joining hands with 14 leading exhibitors, the Pavilion spanned over 400 square metres, showcasing a comprehensive range of products. The exhibition provided an exceptional platform for Hong Kong enterprises to connect with global buyers and demonstrate their latest technological breakthroughs.
A major highlight of the event was the "HKMDC Forum" held on 23 April. The forum, themed "Smart Moulding, Shaping the Future – Intelligent Transformation and Sustainable Development in the Plastics & Moulding Industry," delved into digital transformation, AI, automation, and smart factory upgrades. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the expert speakers from the following organisations for sharing their invaluable expertise:
- Ms Keli Li , Hong Kong Productivity Council - Smart Manufacturing Division
- Mr Kwok Man Wing, Multitech Machinery Co., Ltd.
- Mr Van Kang, Hongrita Mold Ltd
- Mr Bruce Liu, Dongguan Wellmei Mold MFG. Co., Ltd.
FHKI will continue to serve as a "Super-Connector," helping Hong Kong businesses stay ahead of industry trends, expand into Mainland and overseas markets, and foster innovation in smart manufacturing.
